Amongst the other Rights guaranteed by the Bill of Right’s First Amendment is the “...right to petition the government for a redress of greivances.” This ancient right is so fundamental that is was first formally recognized as a right of the people in the Magna Carta, way back in the year 1215.
It should be of interest to all Americans that the Supreme Court has NEVER ruled upon the meaning of this Right.
Further, the Supreme Court recently refused to hear a case which would give them their first opportunity to acknowledge the meaning of this right. This should be a matter of extreme concern to all Americans.
